  • I have completed my Graduate Certificate, Diploma or Master’s in professional or pastoral supervision*
  • I have had at least five years of pastoral ministry experience (*Pastoral experience encompasses working in a church as a pastor or working directly alongside pastors in ministry contexts.)*
  • I have had at least five years of regular and ongoing engagement with people in pastoral ministry in formal supportive relationships (eg mentoring, coaching, counselling, supervising) *
  • Additional Criteria and Compliance

  • I am currently being supervised by an appropriately qualified professional supervisor*
  • I have professional indemnity insurance*

  • I have read the BCSANT Code of Ethics and agree to encourage pastors to practice their ministry within the requirements of the Code of Ethics*
  • I agree that matters discussed in the Supervision sessions will remain confidential, except in the stated circumstances*
  • I agree that matters discussed in the Supervision sessions will remain confidential. The only exceptions may be where:
    a. A significant risk that may result in harm to the Supervisee or another person.
    b. A criminal offence that has been committed that requires mandatory reporting.
    c. There has been a significant breach of the BCSANT Code of Conduct, in which case the supervisor may suspend their supervising relationship and inform the BCSANT Director of Ministry of the suspension in supervision.
