• A Survey of Muslim Tech Professionals

  • Assalamu alaikum,

    Thank you for taking the time to fill out this survey. It is designed to help us understand the experience of Muslim tech professionals. 

    Your responses will inform the development of a guidebook for Muslim tech professionals to help them navigate the complexities of working as Muslims in tech. Concurrently, we are developing a scholarly framework grounding Islamic ethics in the realities of modern technology. Both resources will be rooted in Islamic principles and written to serve practitioners.

    The survey will take 7–10 minutes. All responses are anonymous. You can optionally provide your contact info at the end if you’d like to participate in a brief follow-up interview, and join our mailing list to stay up to date with our progress.

    Participation is voluntary, and you may withdraw at any time.

    Eligibility: Muslim adults (18 years or older) working in tech or studying a tech-related field.

    This project is led by IASER (Islamic Alliance for Safe, Ethical, and Responsible AI) in collaboration with Yaqeen Institute.
