2026 Classroom/Department Innovation Grant Application

LEAF provide funding for projects that simulate students' creativity and expand the existing curriculum. To insure anonymity during the selection process, the committee members will NOT have access to applicants' names or campus. The amount of the award is up to $1,500 for individual teacher grants & $4,000 for campus/department grants.

Grant winners will be announced December 2026.

Before filling out the information for your grant, you acknowledge that your principal has reviewed/certified that your grant would be a good use of funds for your campus based on the goals cited in your campus improvement plan.

Please understand that the LEAF Classroom Innovation Grant is a teacher driven initiative that is not for campus principals. However, we encourage you to apply for a Principal Grant in the spring. The application window will be February 15 - March 16, 2027.

Grants are not awarded until December, any grant that is applied for needs to take place in the spring.

Color Track

In the event a recipient of a "Single Teacher Grant" transfers to another school within the district, the teacher may transfer the grant program to their new school as long as the principal who certified/reviewed the grant gives approval for the grant to be transferred. School grants are not allowed to be transferred.
