The Center for Regenerative Agriculture and Resilient Systems (CRARS) is currently accepting applications from California farms and ranches in select counties to participate in the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) Regional Conservation Partnership Program (RCPP).
Selected farmers and ranchers will receive free, one-on-one technical assistance from CRARS to identify, plan, and implement conservation projects that improve the health, productivity, and resilience of their farming or ranching operations. Participants may also receive assistance applying for NRCS financial assistance for cost share on eligible project costs.
CRARS Technical Assistance Providers can help you develop and carry out projects that build healthier soils, improve water retention, recycle nutrients, reduce erosion, support pollinators and beneficial insects, create wildlife habitat, and strengthen the long-term productivity of your farm or ranch. Assistance may include on-site visits, evaluating opportunities on your operation, selecting conservation practices, developing implementation plans, supporting practice installation, and monitoring project outcomes.

Applicants must be registered with the USDA Farm Service Agency (FSA), or be willing to register prior to participation. Learn more about the Farm Service Agency HERE.
Direct participation by the farm or ranch owner or operator is required. The owner/operator must be listed as the Primary Contact on the application and, in most cases, should be the producer identified in FSA records.
