Please note: There is a $20.00 non-refundable assessment fee.

We appreciate that swimmers are eager for their results at the conclusion of the assessment. Results for June/July tryouts will be emailed around the middle of July. Results for August tryout will be emailed 1-2 weeks afterwards.

- Monday June 29 - White Oaks Pool

- Saturday July 4 - Oakville Trafalgar Community Centre

- Saturday August 8 - Oakville Trafalgar Community Centre

Placement offers will be made following each tryout date. As such, there may be more opportunity by attending an earlier tryout.

If your swimmer is currently swimming with another swim club or has official racing times, please complete the Competitive Tryout Form.

I confirm that my swimmer meets the following minimum requirements to attend the assessment:

Swimmer must be a minimum of 6 years old and maximum 10 years old as of December 31, 2026.
Swimmer must be independent and take part in practice without a parent
Comfortable in deep water
Must be able to float on front with head down and face in the water for 5 seconds
Must be able to float on back for 5 seconds.
Must be able to kick 10m on front and back starting in a floating position.
Must be able to jump into deep water unassisted.

OAK welcomes all swimmers to tryout for the team, however the club has limited availability for each group. Attendance at this assessment does not guarantee a position on the team.

By signing this form, I acknowledge that I have read, fully understand and agree to all terms and conditions. I agree to all terms and conditions in the Acknowledgement and Assumption of Risks Form.

Upon completion of this form please be sure to arrive at the pool at least 10 minutes prior to the start of the assessment that you selected above. Swimmer must have a swim suit, cap and goggles.
