Thank you for your interest in participating in the Galena Youth Market! This event provides young entrepreneurs ages 20 and under with an opportunity to showcase their creativity, gain business experience, and sell their products directly to the community.

Participation is free for youth vendors. Vendors may sell handmade items, artwork, baked goods, crafts, jewelry, or other age-appropriate products. Booth space will be provided, but vendors are responsible for bringing any additional display materials they may need.

A parent or legal guardian must complete and sign this form for any participant under the age of 18.

What do you plan to sell?

Please be as specific as possible. Examples might include jewelry, artwork, homemade baked goods, lemonade, plants, tie-dye, slime, etc.

Do we have your permission to take photographs of your child? The Town of Galena may photograph or record the event for promotional purposes.

LIABILITY WAIVER / VENDOR AGREEMENT

ELIGIBILITY
1. The Galena Youth Market is open to young entrepreneurs ages 20 and under.
2. Vendors under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian complete and sign all required forms.
3. Vendors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times during the event, including setup, event hours, and cleanup.
VENDOR RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Vendors may sell handmade items, artwork, crafts, baked goods, jewelry, or other approved products.
2. Vendors are responsible for providing their own tables, chairs, displays, and other materials needed for their booth.
3. Vendors must keep their booth area clean and remove all trash and materials at the conclusion of the event.
4. Vendors must conduct themselves in a respectful and professional manner throughout the event.
5. The Town of Galena reserves the right to prohibit the sale or display of any item deemed unsafe, inappropriate, or inconsistent with the family-friendly nature of the event.
FEES
1. There is no fee to participate in the Youth Entrepreneur Market.
LIABILITY
1. Participation is voluntary. Vendors and their parent/legal guardian assume responsibility for any loss, damage, injury, or theft related to participation in the event.
2. The Town of Galena, its officials, employees, volunteers, and affiliates shall not be liable for any injury, loss, damage, or claim arising from participation in the event.
3. Parent/legal guardian agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Town of Galena, its officials, employees, volunteers, and affiliates from any claims arising from the participant's involvement in the event.
MISCELLANEOUS
1. The Town of Galena reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or modify the event as necessary.
2. The Town of Galena reserves the right to remove any participant who fails to comply with these rules or whose conduct is disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate.

By signing below, the participant and parent/legal guardian (if participant is under 18 years of age) acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to the terms of this Agreement.
