• BGC Clifton 2026-27 Before & Afterschool Registration

  • Fall 2026 Registration Information

Thank you for your continued interest in the Boys & Girls Club of Clifton’s Before School, After School, and Early Childhood Programs. We appreciate your patience, support, and valuable feedback as we work to enhance the registration experience for our families.

The Early Registration link will become active at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, June 15. This registration period is reserved exclusively for families with children currently enrolled in our Early Childhood, Before School, or After School Programs, as well as their siblings who will be entering kindergarten.

Applications for Full-Time Gingerbread House Day Care can be made through the Early Childhood office.

Early Registration will remain open through Sunday, June 28. Families who are currently enrolled and complete registration at any time during this two-week period will be guaranteed placement for the upcoming school year.
During registration, you will be required to complete the registration form. No payment will be due at that time. Payment instructions will be provided after you receive a confirmation email from our team.

Program Updates for the 2026 School Year

    Schools #1, #3, and #15

Our experience has shown that programs with stronger enrollment and attendance are better positioned to support larger staff teams, foster meaningful staff-child relationships, and provide more engaging, diverse, and high-quality programming. These environments also contribute to stronger outcomes for our members.

We are investing in the After School Program at all school sites, including new special events and guests, and continuing trips to the Clubhouse for swimming.

Due to consistently low enrollment, we will be adjusting our after-school programming for members attending Schools #1, #3, and #15.

    • Members from Schools #1 and #15 will participate in a consolidated after-school program located on-site at their school.
    • Members from School #3 will be transported to the Club, as we will no longer offer an in-school program at that location.

As we continue to evaluate how best to serve our families, we believe these changes will expand programming opportunities for students from Schools #1, #3, and #15 while strengthening our ability to fulfill our mission of providing a safe, supportive, and enriching environment for all young people.

    Fees, Schedules, and Financial Aid

In response to feedback from families, we have made adjustments aimed at easing your cashflow, and introduced new rates with financial aid available at higher income levels. While the cost of running our programs has continued to rise rapidly (including insurance, fuel, electricity, etc.) we are introducing these changes to support member families in meaningful ways.

    Payments and Deposits

You will no longer be required to pay your first and last month as a deposit during registration.

    • Once your application has been processed you will receive confirmation and payment information.
    • To complete your registration, you will need to pay a non-refundable deposit for June 2027.  Payment can be made on our website through the Parent Portal or at the front desk.
    • Your first regular monthly payment will not be due until September 1, 2026.

    Financial Assistance

For the 2026-27 school year, the Club is proud to offer financial aid to a wider range of families. Financial aid (discounts) will range from $5/month to $170/month.
Initial eligibility now begins with income at higher incomes as we recognize the challenges families are facing, and goes down to income levels lower than previously. (The new income eligibility table is in the financial aid section of this application)

We encourage all families to fill out the application form. In addition to the potential reduced rate you may qualify for, this information helps the Club apply for grants.

    • If your household income is below the income limits from last year, you are still  required to apply for 4c’s (your application will be accepted and placed on hold until proof of 4c’s is submitted).
    • Must submit a copy of your 2025 income taxes for all parents/guardians. At least one must include the child as a dependent.
    • As in past years, some full scholarships may become available in the Fall. Qualifying families will be notified.
    • Scholarship funding is limited. Please do not assume you will receive a scholarship. You will be notified if you receive a scholarship or reduced rate.
Once reviewed, families will receive confirmation of the assistance level for which they qualify.

We remain deeply committed to serving as many families as possible through affordable, high-quality programming in a safe and supportive environment. Thank you for your continued trust, patience, and support of the Club and its mission.

    Great futures start here!

  • STATEMENT TO BE SIGNED BY SUBSIDY RECIPIENTS AND APPLICANTS

By signing below, I understand that the criteria established by the Boys & Girls Club of Clifton for subsidy eligibility is based on the gross income of the family applying for the subsidy and the number of family members dependent upon that income for support.

I understand that the amount for each subsidy and the number of subsidies available is limited. Therefore, the Boys & Girls Club of Clifton cannot and has no obligation to provide all eligible families with subsidies.

I understand the Boys & Girls Club of Clifton reserves the right to make exceptions to the established subsidy criteria when, in its view, an emergency situation exists.

I understand that a portion of the subsidy money I receive or am applying for is obtained for me by the Boys & Girls Club of Clifton and that the other portion is provided by the Boys & Girls Club itself through the various fundraising activities of the Board of Trustees.

I have carefully reviewed my application for participation in the After-School Program and have also carefully reviewed the financial information supplied with the application. I certify that, to the best of my knowledge and belief, the information I have supplied is true, correct, and complete. Should there be any change in my financial situation that would affect my subsidy eligibility status I will report the change to the Boys & Girls Club within 20 days.
