Market Overview
The Nokesville Farmers Market is a community event hosted monthly to support local farms and increase access to food and goods grown closer to home. The market is independently organized and managed by The Greenhouse Market LLC and held in the parking lot at 12625 Fitzwater Dr, Nokesville, VA. The market will be held one Saturday per month from 9am to 1pm. Market dates for the Summer 2026 season are June 27, July 25, August 29, and September 19.
Vendor Participation & Requirements
The Nokesville Farmers Market is a producer focused event with an emphasis on vendors who grow, raise, or produce their own food products within 100 miles of Nokesville, VA. A limited number of other artisan vendors providing non-food products will be selected based on space availability and at the discretion of the market managers.
Vendors must clearly report their primary product or category of products to be sold at market. Resale of items not produced by the vendor is not permitted, unless otherwise pre-approved in writing by market managers.
In order to ensure a balanced variety of products and offerings, the number of vendors within a given category may be limited by market organizers. Vendors will not be given guarantee of being the only vendor within a given category. Acceptance to the market is not guaranteed and is subject to approval of the market managers. Market managers reserve the right to accept or refuse any business or product. If a vendor no-shows to an event without prior notice to market managers, they will be removed from remaining markets this season.
All food vendors must comply with Virginia Department of Health and/or any other applicable state regulations. Please refer to Virginia’s guidelines for home kitchen food processing. Each vendor is responsible for determining their own need for licenses, permits, or insurance to sell your food product legally in the state of Virginia, as well as any tax requirements for your products.
Booth Requirements
Single vendor booths are approximately 10’ x 10’. Vendors are responsible for their own set up and take down and must bring all equipment necessary for your booth including but not limited to tents, tables, chairs, and signage. Tents must have a minimum of 10lb weights on each leg. All elements of the booth including signage must fit within your designated space. There is no electrical access for vendors in the market parking lot. Music, generators, or any other amplified sound systems must be approved in advance.
Vendors may begin setting up no earlier than 8am and must be done taking down by 2pm on market days. Vendors are required to ensure their booth space is clean and free of all trash or debris at the end of market day. Please be aware that there are other groups using designated spaces on the Renaissance Montessori school grounds on Saturday mornings. Please follow signs and direction of market organizers as you pull in to unload your supplies and only park where directed.
Market Fees & Payment
Single, 10’ x 10’, booth space - $55 per market day or $200 for all Summer 2026 dates (Jun 27, Jul 25, Aug 29, Sep 19)
Vendors will receive a link to payment upon acceptance to the market and completed vendor agreement.
Code of Conduct
The Nokesville Farmers Market is intended to be a family-friendly event to support local farms and the small business economy. It is our intention to maintain an environment where neighbors are welcome to gather and share in community life.
All vendors, staff, and guests, are expected to maintain respectful and professional behavior and language at all times. Any unsafe, disruptive, or inappropriate behavior or language will result in immediate removal from the market.
Any concerns regarding an aspect of the market or other vendors should be directed to the market managers.
Liability Release & Vendor Signature
By participating in the Nokesville Farmers Market, vendors assume full responsibility for any loss, damage, or injury resulting from their participation. The Greenhouse Market LLC, Renaissance Montessori School, and property owners of 12625 Fitzwater Dr, Nokesville, VA, are not liable for theft, damage, injury, weather, or accidents resulting from vendor’s participation in the market.
By participating, vendors grant permission for The Greenhouse Market LLC to use photographs or video of vendor booths, products, and staff for promotional purposes.
