Join OC Bruins for a team-based scavenger hunt through this iconic historic district in search of remarkable details hiding in plain sight.
Teams will solve clues, complete photo missions, uncover hidden landmarks, and discover fun facts as they make their way through one of SoCal's most distinctive downtowns. The final destination will be revealed through the last clue.
Attending solo? Prepare to make some new friends. Teams will be formed at the start, creating a great opportunity to meet fellow Bruins while exploring. No special knowledge is required. Just bring comfortable shoes, curiosity, and a willingness to work together. Teams are encouraged to move at a friendly pace, respect local businesses and residents, and make sure everyone has a chance to participate.
The scavenger hunt begins at 9:30 AM at the fountain in Plaza Park (the Orange Circle). Specific clues and challenges will be revealed on event day.
Difficulty: Easy to Moderate. Expect approximately 1 to 1.5 miles of walking on mostly flat sidewalks and pedestrian-friendly streets.
Participants are welcome to attend only the scavenger hunt or make a fuller morning of it with optional coffee, brunch, and a visit to the Hilbert Museum.
Need to fuel up before the hunt? You can meet us at Caffe In Coffee by 9:00 AM, before the official 9:30 AM start at the Circle. Coffee is optional, but highly compatible with clue-solving.
