• 2026 IPAA Victoria First Peoples Leader Scholarship Form

  • The First Peoples Leader Scholarship acknowledges and supports First Peoples public purpose sector employees by offering a tailored professional development program for individuals who demonstrate strong leadership potential and a clear commitment to the sector.

    The Scholarship is designed to support diverse and meaningful career pathways for First Peoples employees by offering a 12-month professional development experience designed to support the recipient’s growth and career aspirations.

    Working closely with IPAA Victoria, the recipient will co-design a tailored development plan, with a value of up to $10,000, aligned to their goals and ambitions. Ongoing support is provided throughout the year to ensure the plan remains relevant and delivers meaningful impact.

    Self-nominations and nominations by individuals and organisations are welcome.

    Nominations can be either self-nominated or submitted by someone else, you do not need to be an IPAA Victoria member to nominate or be nominated. We welcome anyone eligible working in the public purpose sector to put forward a nomination.

  • NOMINEE

    Nominees must be an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person, have at least 12 months paid employment experience in the public purpose sector and must be able to provide a community referee to confirm the nominee's First Peoples identify and connection to and involvement with First Peoples communities (as supplied above).
  • All nominations must available for the award ceremony on 29 October 2026 and may be called on to participate in awards marketing and communication activities before and following the awards ceremony. Do you agree to this condition?*

    Each nomination requires a response as to how the nominated individual meets the criteria to a high degree, written by the nominator. Each response has a limit of 150 words.
