Trainee Prep Intake - Special recruitment

The O2 Academy is a dedicated program built to bridge the gap between "hobbyist" and "audition-ready". Joining our existing cohort, our goal is to provide the technical foundation in vocals and dance to build your confidence for professional agency auditions.

Program Essentials

Length: 2-Term Annual Commitment (April – December 2026).
Dates: 
Term 3: 13/07-13/09
Korea trip: 18/09-26/09
Term 4: 5/10-6/12
Showcase: 12/12

Age Requirement: Born 2008 – 2013.

Weekly Curriculum

Vocal/Rap (1 hr): Small group coaching (3 students per class).
Dance Foundation (1.25 hr): Compulsory technical training for all students.
K-Pop Performance (2.5 hr): High-intensity group training.

Dynamic Learning: To optimise trainee progress, the schedule may rotate with modeling, Korean language, or O2 open classes.
Progress Reviews: Scheduled every term to track growth and prepare for real agency-style evaluations.

🚨 General Timetable & Assignment Policy

You will NOT select your class times. All students are assigned to specific slots based on the skill level demonstrated in their audition video.

Program Investment & Payment Options:

This program is a 2-term commitment. We offer three flexible payment tiers:

• Standard Rate: $150 per week (Billed via weekly direct debit).
• Term Saver: $1,260 per term (Paid in full before Week 1).
• Full Upfront: $2,340 for full program (saves $360 in total)
• This payment doesn't include Korea trip

Registration Process

1. Submit Form: Include your current dance and vocal/rap videos, due 30th June. 
2. Results: Final selections will be emailed by 3rd July
3. Secure Spot: Payments (online bank transfer) must be processed by 7th July to confirm enrollment.

Academy 2026: Mandatory Availability Schedule

Please confirm your availability for all time blocks within your specific category. Final individual timetables are assigned by the O2 Kpop Academy.

Important Enrollment Notes

Assignment Policy: You will not select your specific class times. All students are assigned to slots based on the skill level demonstrated in their audition.

Vocal Placement: Vocal classes have 3 students max, your specific 1-hour weekday or Sunday session will be confirmed in your final timetable.

Full Availability: Applicants with partial availability may be placed on a waiting list or may not be offered a spot if the program reaches capacity with full-availability registrations.

1. Registration, Payment, and Enrollment
   Registration Confirmation: Enrollment is only confirmed once (i) the online application is submitted, (ii) the first installment or full upfront payment is received, and (iii) a formal "Trainee Acceptance" email is issued by O2 Kpop Academy.

2. Refund and Cancellation Policy
   Non-Refundable Status: All program fees (Weekly, Term, or Annual) are non-refundable and non-transferable once the program commences on April 25, 2026.
   Withdrawal: Should a student choose to withdraw after the program starts, they remain liable for the remainder of their current term's fees. No credits or refunds are issued for change of mind or personal schedule conflicts.

3. Class Assignment and Curriculum
   Skill-Based Placement: All trainees are assigned to specific levels (e.g., Level 1 or Level 2) and time slots. Trainees cannot select or swap their assigned class times.
   Dynamic Curriculum: O2 Academy reserves the right to rotate scheduled Foundation classes with specialized modules, including Modeling, Korean Language, or O2 Open Classes, to optimize trainee development.
   Attendance: Trainees commit to 4.75 hours of weekly training. No make-up sessions, refunds, or credits are provided for missed classes, regardless of the reason for absence.
   Review Weeks: Regular classes may be replaced with evaluations or self-directed practice sessions as part of the curriculum.

4. Auditions, Age, and Conduct
   Age Restriction: Participation is strictly limited to those born between 2008 and 2013. Proof of age may be requested.
   No Guarantee of Outcome: O2 Kpop Academy is a training institution. We do not guarantee auditions, casting, or employment outcomes with external entertainment agencies.
   Code of Conduct: All trainees and parents must treat staff and peers with professional respect. O2 Academy reserves the right to refuse entry or dismiss a student without a refund for behavior that is aggressive, offensive, dangerous, or disruptive to the training environment.
