A non-carceral, peer-led space for people who support friends, family members, or community members through suicidality; or who are suicide loss survivors. We will hold space for the pain, grief, and other complex emotions we hold, and support each other in our collective survival.
Please note: this is not a space for consultation or education
Facilitator: nian (they/them) is a crip anti-carceral care worker, artist and a part of the THRIVE Lifeline and Stronger U team. They approach suicide and non-carceral care from a disabled, (forced) migrant, neurodivergent, queer and mad perspective. nian brings lived experience of supporting friends and community members through suicidality, alongside experiences of suicide loss and chronic suicidality. Their hope is to create more community spaces grounded in non-carceral care and Disability Justice, where we can learn from each other, support our collective survival and work towards dismantling intersecting systems of oppression together.
