    Practices will begin in August. First Football game is the 2nd weekend in September. Games will be on Saturdays, and the season could last until first/2nd weekend in Nov. (Approx. Time Frame).

  • We are excited to announce that Tri-County has officially accepted TYSA into their Flag/Tackle program!

    North Divisions: Academy, Taylor, Thorndale, Cameron, Rockdale, Florence, and Bartlett. 

    Travel & Hosting: While we will be traveling to compete in neighboring towns, we will also be hosting home games.

    Registration Fees: $125: will cover uniform, pom poms, and ribbon. 

    Uniform Fitting: Cheer Uniform fitting TBD. 

    YOUR COMMITTMENT: Parent's will be required to provide neutral shoes and low neutral color socks. We do not expect you to buy new shoes, we just ask that that they are not bright colors or that they clash with the cheer uniforms. White, black, tan, etc.

    We ask that families only commit to registering if they fully intend to participate in the schedule.

    That said, we know life happens! If an unexpected conflict or issue arises, please reach out to your coach or TYSA as soon as possible. Our volunteers are incredibly understanding, and we are always happy to work with you when there is open communication.

  • RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY, ASSUMPTION OF RISK, AND INDEMNITY AND PARENTAL CONSENT AGREEMENT

    By signing below, I hereby release and discharge the Thorndale Youth Sports Association (TYSA), along with its volunteers, members, directors, coaches, and officers, from any and all liability, claims, or responsibilities for injuries or harm incurred during my or my child’s participation as a player or spectator. This waiver covers all TYSA programs and activities, including practices and events held at the Thorndale Football Field, City Park, or any travel locations required for cheer athletes (including, but not limited to, Academy, Florence, Bartlett, Rockdale, Taylor, and Cameron).
  • 1. I fully understand: (a) these activities involve risks and dangers of serious bodily injury, ("RISKS"); (b) these Risks and dangers may be caused by my own actions or inactions, the actions or inactions of others participating in the Activity, the condition in which the Activity takes place, or the negligence of the "RELEASES" named below; (c) there may be OTHER RISK AND SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC LOSSES either not known to me or not readily foreseeable at this time; and I FULLY ACCEPT AND ASSUME ALL SUCH RISKS AND ALL RESPONSBILITY FOR LOSSES, COSTS, AND DAMAGES I incur as a result of my participation or that of the minor in the Activity.

  • CODE OF CONDUCT

    This document presents the expectations for conduct from athletes, parents and coaches at Thorndale Youth Sports Association.
  • We hold athletes, parents, coaches, and community members to a high standard of sportsmanship. Enforcing this Code of Conduct allows TYSA to promote a safe, rewarding, and fun sports experience for our entire community.Please read the document carefully before registering for each season. Each participant and coach is required to acknowledge the Code of Conduct before the season begins, and must abide by the Code of Conduct throughout the entire season.Violations of the Code of Conduct may result in disciplinary action including suspension - either temporarily or permanently as determined by the Board of Directors.

  • I will put the emotional and physical well-being of youth participants ahead of a personal desire to win.

    I will respect players, coaches, officials, spectators, and families at all times.

    I will respect the decisions of officials or coaches.

    I will not engage in any violence or verbal threats or use any profanity.

    I will not yell advice to my child during a game.

    I will model good sportsmanship for all youth participants.

    I will not belittle or ridicule anyone involved in a youth sporting event–in public, private, in-person, or online.

    I will do my part to keep sports fun and positive for every youth participant.

  • CODE of CONDUCT for PLAYERS

  • I will be a good sport to players, coaches, officials, opponents, and parents at every game and practice, no matter win or lose.


    I will learn the value of commitment by participating in as many practices and games as I can.


    I will encourage my teammates and praise good efforts.


    I will be honest, fair, and respectful to others at all times.


    I will aim to learn all I can from sports.


    I will arrive at practice on time and be ready to dedicate my attention to my coaches.

    I will commit to attending practices and games unless otherwise discussed in advance with a coach. 

  • Child Custody Agreement

  • In cases of divorced parents or joint custody of any kind, the guardian filling out registration (online or in-person) will be deemed the responsible person and must pay for registration at the time of or by the deadline. Thorndale Youth Sports Association will not get involved in disputes related to which parent is financially responsible for the athlete's registration balance. While we understand that family relationships can be very delicate, please do not expect TYSA to mediate the athlete's financial obligations or communications between our organization and the athlete's guardians.
