Thank you for your interest in walking in the District of Curves 2026 Fashion Show on November 15, 2026. We are excited to review your application and learn more about you!

About This Form

This form serves as registration for both the virtual model call and the in-person model call. Please read the information below carefully before completing your application.

In-Person Model Call — August 15, 2026

There will be an in-person model call on August 15, 2026. Venue and time are to be announced. Everyone is encouraged to attend, especially models within reasonable driving distance of the DMV area. Attending in person gives us the opportunity to meet you face to face, and that is always a great thing.

How to Indicate Your Submission Type

At the bottom of this section, you will find a checkbox asking how you are submitting. Please select the option that applies to you. If you indicate that you are submitting virtually, that does not mean you cannot also attend the in-person call — you are still welcome and encouraged to come out.

What to Expect After You Apply

After submitting, the next follow-up you will hear from us will be sometime in July. That update will be posted on our social media. Due to the high volume of applicants, we will not be reaching out to anyone individually for a status update.

Final decisions will be made after the in-person model call. Models who have been selected will be notified at that time. Models who have not been selected may not receive individual notification — however, we will post on our social media to let everyone know that final selections have been made.

If you received a submission confirmation email, we have your application and it is being processed. There is no need to apply again. The process takes time and we appreciate your patience. We look forward to reviewing your application, photos, and video!

In-Person Model Call — Comp Card or Headshot Required

If you are attending the in-person model call, a comp card or headshot is required. Anyone who does not have one will not be considered at the in-person call. There is more than enough time to book a session with a photographer. Reach out to your favorite photographer to get that scheduled. If you are local to the DMV area or willing to travel, you can also reach out to @plusmodelphotography on Instagram — mention the DOC model call and you will receive a discount on your session.

DOC's Next Top Model Competition

DIstrict Of Curves Next Top Model Competition is coming back for year 2! If you would like to apply and compete in that competition, you can do that using this form as well. Before filling out this application, please read the DOC's Next Top Model page on our website to make sure you understand the requirements. TO APPLY WALK IN THE 2026 DISTRICT OF CURVES FASHION SHOW, YOU DO NOT HAVE TO APPLY FOR THE TOP MODEL COMPETITION. 

 

Before submitting your application, please make sure you are following us on Instagram at @districtofcurves. If you have a YouTube account, please subscribe to our YouTube channel as well. This helps us stay connected with our applicants throughout the process.

Please provide accurate measurements in inches. This information is used for casting and fitting purposes only.

Please Select Your Gender Below Based on your selection, the appropriate measurements section will appear for you to complete. Please fill in all required fields accurately. All measurements should be entered in inches unless otherwise noted. Height should be entered in feet and inches using the two fields provided — do not convert your height to total inches.

Please upload high-quality, clear photos taken in good lighting. You must be the only person in the shot—no group photos, heavy filters, or sunglasses. We need to see the real you!

 

📱 iPhone users: If your photos are not attaching, your phone may be saving them in HEIC format. To fix this, go to Settings → Camera → Formats and select Most Compatible. This will save your photos as JPG going forward. You can also convert existing HEIC photos before uploading.

If you are submitting virtually, a walk video is required. Applications submitted virtually without a walk video will not be considered.

Video Requirements: The video must be current — recorded within the last 3 months The video cannot be footage from another show or event The video must be clearly lit with good visibility You must be the only person walking in the video Accepted formats: MP4, MOV

IF YOU POST YOUR VIDEO ON INSTAGRAM OR TIKTOK AND PROVIDE THE LINK, YOU MUST MAKE SURE YOUR PAGE IS PUBLIC. WE CANNOT SEE VIDEOS ON PRIVATE PAGES THAT WE DO NOT FOLLOW.
