** Pre-formed paper sessions comprise up to 3 thematically related paper presentations; each paper should not exceed 15 minutes.

*** Discussion panels should be limited to 3-4 participants and the panel chair.

**** In a roundtable, an important reading selected in advance of the VICFA is discussed by attendees.

***** In an interview, the proposer will interview one other person.

an individual paper, include the title of the paper and the abstract of 300-500 words with the working bibliography.

a pre-formed paper session, include the title of the session, name and professional affiliation of the session chair, names and professional affiliations of all presenters, and titles and abstracts of all papers--300-500 words each with the working bibliographies.

a discussion panel, include the title of the panel, the panel description of 300-500 words, the name and professional affiliation of the panel chair, and the name and professional affiliation of each panelist.

a roundtable, include the title of the proposed reading.

an interview, include the name and professional affiliation of the interviewee.

Volunteer
The IAFA welcomes volunteers to moderate academic, creative, hybrid, and special sessions. You will introduce your session's presenters, keep track of presentation times, and moderate discussion in the question-and-answer period:
