  • Why this cohort is different

  • As ICF moves mentor coaching into a formal specialization (the Mentor Coach Specialization, effective January 1, 2027), the people shaping the next era of mentor coaching should include coaches, educators, mentors, supervisors, and DEIB practitioners. This founding cohort is one way of walking the walk.

  • The program

  • A 12-hour mentor coach education intensive aligned with the ICF Mentor Coaching Competencies — exceeding the 10-hour minimum in ICF's Credit for Prior Learning pathway.

    Three live workshops via Zoom, guided asynchronous learning, and a final capstone with structured review.

    You'll work with role clarity, ethical agreements, observation and evidence, formative appraisal, developmental feedback, the Michael Case Series, group mentor coaching, and ACC/PCC documentation practice.

    Core text: The Frame and The Flow: Coaching at the Speed of Humanity by Joanne Wong Blackerby.

    Completion earns a certificate documenting 12 hours of mentor coach education.

  • The Founding Access model

    The future standard registration is $795. For this first cohort only, every seat is offered below that rate through guided contribution tiers — first-come, first-served: • Access Tier — $195 (4 seats) • Sustaining Tier — $395 (5 seats) • Founding Supporter Tier — $595 (6 seats) Once a tier fills, it closes; remaining tiers stay open. Once all 15 seats fill, new registrations join the Fall 2026 waitlist. Same full program, same standards, at every tier. The access model reduces financial barriers. It does not reduce rigor.
