Please note due the volume of applications received, we may not be able to discuss your application until a suitable match is available. This doesn't necessarily mean your home is unsuitable to rehome a cat.
PLEASE THOROUGHLY READ THIS FORM BEFORE APPLYING AND CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING:
- Do you have the time and finances to care for a cat? We appreciate situations can change but please think carefully before adopting. Cats live on average 12 years but can live 15 years plus.
- Do you have someone who can care for your cat if you go away on holiday?
- Will existing pets be happy with a new cat addition?
Please complete the form below to register your interest in adopting a cat from us. We always try to find the most suitable homes for our animals; considering their needs as well as those of any existing pets you may have. We understand it can be disappointing not being successful rehoming a particular cat but there may be another cat that is more suited to you.
The majority of cats and kittens are rehomed to homes with direct access to a garden, so that they can freely go outside once they are old enough to do so. There will be exceptions to this if a cat or kitten needs an indoor only home, but even then they usually require safe outside space.
Kittens are usually rehomed in pairs, unless there is a resident cat or dog they can play with. Again, there may be some exceptions to this but generally kittens are much happier when they have a friend.
We welcome applications from homes with young children and other pets in the household, but please understand that some cats are not suitable to live with other dogs, cats or young children.
All of our cats and kittens are rehomed after a vet check, at least the first vaccination, neutered, up to date flea and worming treatment, microchipped and 5 weeks free pet insurance with Agria. We also offer ongoing support. The minimum adoption fee is £205 for each cat. This helps cover the cost of the veterinary treatment and care costs whilst the cats are with us and allows us to rescue more cats. There will be a small additional fee to transfer/register a microchip to you. If I have implanted the microchip, the fee is £2.99, payable to the microchip company to register the chip.
Thank you for your support.
