If I receive an international assignment to represent Ice Skating Australia (ISA), I agree to:
- Submit competition entry forms and supporting documents to ISA by the specified due dates.
- Complete all forms, declarations, and requests required by ISA in a timely manner.
- Permit the email addresses provided to be included on distribution lists and communications for the purpose of disseminating information to athletes.
- Undertake pre-event training in a responsible & committed manner and, if requested, provide ISA with a copy of my training schedule.
- Undertake a High Performance Review prior to assignment confirmation, if required by ISA.
- Undergo a medical and/or injury assessment, if requested by ISA or the ISA Chief Medical Officer (CMO)) for any illness or injury, and provide a written medical report on the assessment.
- Immediately notify ISA Administration and ISA CMO of any injuries or illnesses and keep ISA and ISA CMO fully informed of the diagnosis, treatment, prognosis, and any potential impact on participation in assigned events.
- Observe and comply with anti-doping policies and requirements of ISA and the ISU.
- Agree to abide by the ISA Code of Conduct and Behaviour and the ISU Code of Ethics.
All international assignments are conditional upon the athlete completing, and abiding by, an ISA Athlete Agreement.
Athletes who do not sign this duly completed Athlete Agreement will not be eligible for entry into any international or ISU event.
This Agreement commences on the date the Agreement is executed and concludes 28 days after the completion of the final ISU Championship event of the season.
ISA reserves the right to decline or withhold entry of an athlete into any international event where:
- there is any outstanding debt owed to ISA by the athlete and/or the athlete's current or former coach; or
- payment has not been received for any costs likely to be incurred by the athlete, the athletes coach, or accompanying family members in connection with the event.
If, in the opinion of ISA an athlete has not adequately prepared for an assigned event, ISA reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, to withdraw the athletes nomination and appoint the next eligible ranked athlete to attend the event.
