Liability Waiver Summary – Washington Parish STEM

By enrolling in Washington Parish STEM programs, camps, workshops, or events, parents/guardians acknowledge that participation in hands-on STEM activities involves inherent risks. By allowing their child to participate, they voluntarily assume these risks and agree to release Washington Parish STEM, its staff, volunteers, and partners from any liability related to injury, illness, or damages that may occur.

Parents/guardians agree to provide accurate medical information, including any conditions or allergies, and authorize emergency medical care if needed. They also grant permission for photos and videos to be used for educational and promotional purposes.

Participants are expected to follow all rules and behave appropriately. Washington Parish STEM reserves the right to remove any participant for unsafe or disruptive behavior. Transportation to and from programs is the responsibility of the parent/guardian.
