    Selfie Tips:

    1. No Makeup (You can have lipstick or eyeshadow on - but no foundation)
    2. No beauty filters, this doesn't show your true tones
    3. Remove sunglasses or eyeglasses
    4. Face a window in your home; make sure there are no windows behind you. (Please no car photos or outdoor photos)
    5. Stand 3 ft back from a natural lit window, extend out with a slight bend at elbow
    6. Make sure your face and neck are in the selfie (look straight on the camera)
    7. Make sure your face does not have shadow or direct bright sunlight.

    Look at your selfie and ask yourself...is this my everyday color in my skin. This is important because your makeup will be matched to the skin tone in your selfies. Too dark you will be matched to a darker color than your skin tone, same for blown out from direct sunlight, your skin will look very light and you'll be matched to a color too light. When in doubt, submit more than one selfie looking at different windows. The Video above will show you how to take a selfie.
