TETRA's Two-Day Dance Film Project
Join TETRA Dance Company for a two-day creative intensive culminating in the creation of a professionally produced dance film inspired by themes of growth, community, ambition, and the journey toward one's future.

Participants will train, create, and collaborate alongside TETRA Dance Company dancers while learning original choreography and contributing to a concept video. The completed film will premiere as part of TETRA Dance Company's 2026 Rochester Fringe Festival production.

This project is designed for dancers ages 12+ with at least 4 years of contemporary/jazz dance experience who are eager to challenge themselves artistically, connect with fellow dancers, and gain experience working in a professional creative process.

Project Dates

Workshop & Rehearsal Day

- Studio 19 Dance Company
- 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Filming & Media Day
- Sunday, August 9, 2026
- 2 hours
- Final filming location and schedule will be shared with registered participants.
Registration Fee: $60

Participants will receive:
- Two days of training and creative development
- Participation in a professionally directed dance film
- Performance footage and media content
- Networking opportunities with dancers from across the Rochester dance community
- A screening of the final film at Rochester Fringe Festival

Liability Waiver: You acknowledge that 1) dance is a physical activity, 2) participation is voluntary, 3) participants assume normal risks associated with movement activities
