Group Leader: Darren Chester
Darren Chester is one of the providers at Hope Mental Wellness Center. He is a retired U.S. Army Chaplain with 23 years of service, providing Christian counseling and pastoral care to soldiers and Army families. He has a Master of Divinity from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and a Master of Science in Community Counseling with a concentration in marriage and family therapy from Columbus State University in Columbus, Georgia. He has experience working with marriage, family, trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, personal growth, and spiritual concerns. Darren and his wife have been married for over 33 years and have six adult children and one grandchild.
