Event Overview

Looking to discover your next CNC hire? The Utah Manufacturing Association (UMA), the Uniquely Abled Machinist Program (UAMP), Salt Lake Community College, and Columbus Community Center invite employers to meet the students of the 3rd UAMP Cohort. The event will begin with a brief overview of the UAMP program, including:
- CNC machinist training and curriculum
- Support resources available to employers
- Hiring and internship opportunities
- Success stories from previous cohorts
- Following the presentation, employers will tour the CNC classroom, meet the candidates, observe them in the training environment, and learn more about their interests, skills, and career goals.
This is an excellent opportunity to identify potential candidates for internships, job shadowing opportunities, apprenticeships, and full-time employment.
