Battle of the Brushes - Beauty Competition Express your interest in competing. MWCO will review all applicants and select competitors for each category (Makeup, Nails, or Hair). Selected competitors will be notified and sent their assigned competition look or brief prior to the event. Judged by a panel on technique, creativity, skill, and presentation.
Live Demonstration on the Main Event Floor (All Day) Showcase your specialty skills throughout the event day at a designated station. Demonstrate techniques, engage with attendees, build your clientele, and attract potential clients in real time.
Beauty Workshop - 30 to 45-Minute Seated Educational Session Lead an educational workshop in a dedicated private room with a seated, engaged audience. Topics may include: makeup techniques, skincare routines, hail health and care, hair care, building a beauty business, product knowledge, or any specialty topic that educates and empowers.
Slay Session - 20-Minute Main Stage Presentation A TED Talk-style platform to share your story, expertise, or message with the FULL event audience. This is your brand spotlight - not a sales pitch. Share your journey, expertise, or a powerful insight that inspires the room. Topic submitted and approved by MWCO.
Guest Beauty Educator — Informal Tutorials & Q&A at Your Station Lead informal, drop-in style tutorials, tips demos, and open Q&A sessions with attendees throughout the day. Relaxed format - share knowledge, answer questions, and connect with people curious about your craft.
Model / Makeover Experience - Offer Mini Services to Attendees Offer complimentary or discounted mini services to event attendees: mini makeover, express nail art, style consultation, lash application, skin consultation brow shaping, etc. Great for building your client base on the spot.
Bridal & Special Occasion Portfolio Showcase Display your portfolio, lookbook, or editorial work at a showcase station. Connect with potential clients seeking artists for weddings, events, photo shoots, and special occasions.
Product or Brand Demonstration - Beauty Brand or Own Product Line Demonstrate and introduce your own or affiliated beauty brand in an educational, community-focused format. Share what your product does, who it is for, and why the community needs it.

All selections are reviewed by MWCO. Participation is subject to available slots and MWCO approval.
SECTION 5- BATTLE OF THE BRUSHES - COMPETITION INTEREST
IMPORTANT:
MWCO will select and assign all Battle of the Brushes competition categories. You do not choose your category - we will review your application, specialty, and portfolio and select the best fit for you. Chosen competitors will be contacted and sent their assigned competition look or creative brief PRIOR to the event so you can prepare. Each category is limited to 4 competitors.

I give Men & Women of Character Organization (MWCO) and Serenity & Slay Health and Beauty Expo unconditional, royalty-free permission to photograph, film, record, and share content featuring my work, name, likeness, and participation on all social media platforms, the event website, printed materials, and all future promotional use before, during, and after the event.
I understand that submitting this form does not guarantee participation. All applications are reviewed and responded to by MWCO within 7-10 business days.
