This course is a state-approved Wisconsin Pyramid Model Infant–Toddler training that includes the National Pyramid Model Consortium Infant Toddler e-Modules and support from Wisconsin-based Pyramid Model reflective coaches. Upon successful completion of both the Infant Toddler e-Modules and the reflective coaching components, participants will receive 29 hours of Wisconsin Registry continuing education credit. This course meets the social and emotional training requirement for YoungStar.
This course consists of 2 parts. This registration includes access to both parts of the course.
The e-Modules: Participants complete 21 hours of online interactive e-Module content through the National Pyramid Model Consortium, using a code provided by a Wisconsin Pyramid Model reflective coach.
The Reflective Course: In addition, after every 2 e-Modules viewed, participants complete one asynchronous, self-paced reflective session (4 asynchronous reflective sessions total completed, one at a time, over about 8 hours). The self-paced reflective sessions are designed so that course participants reflect on their application of learning from the e-Modules through:
- Individual self-reflection
- Virtual discussion with other participants
- Feedback and guided reflection from a reflective coach
