• Make Music Day at Durham Arts Council: Acoustic Artist Registration

    Sunday, June 21, 2026 • Durham Arts Council Garden Patio • Performance window: 2:00 PM–5:00 PM. Local acoustic musicians are invited to perform free 30-minute sets as part of Make Music Day. Performance times will be assigned based on availability, and submission does not guarantee placement.

  • Please read the following carefully:

    I understand that this is a free community performance opportunity offered as part of Make Music Day.

    I acknowledge that Durham Arts Council is providing performance space only and is not producing, staffing, or technically supporting individual performances.

    I understand that I am responsible for:

    • Providing my own instruments and equipment
    • Transporting, setting up, and removing my equipment
    • Managing my own performance needs
    • Arriving at least 15 minutes before my assigned time


    I understand that Durham Arts Council will not provide:

    • Sound equipment
    • Amplification
    • Microphones
    • Instruments
    • Technical support
    • Equipment storage


    I agree that my performance will be appropriate for a public, family-friendly audience.

    I understand that Durham Arts Council is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged equipment or personal property.

    I grant Durham Arts Council permission to photograph or record my participation and use those materials for promotional and archival purposes.

    I understand that performance schedules may be adjusted or canceled due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
