  • Thank you for your interest in serving on a California Society of Anesthesiologists (CSA) committee or task force. To be considered for a committee position for the 2026-2027 term, please complete the form below.

    Important Information:

    • Committee appointments are for one year, and you must reapply annually.
      You must be a current CSA member. If you have not yet renewed for 2026, you can do so.
    • All applicants will be required to complete a conflict of interest disclosure, which will be sent after the nomination deadline.
    • A full list and more details on CSA Committees & Task Forces can be found here. If a committee or task force is not listed on the form, it is not currently open for nominations. Some CSA committees have membership requirements outlined in the bylaws.

    Expectations of committee members:
    Committee appointments are for the CSA 2026-27 year (beginning September 28). Committee members are expected to meet the following expectations:

    • Attend at least 50 percent of meetings, in person or electronically
    • Participation at committee meetings (e.g. sharing ideas)
    • Volunteer to help produce committee work-products, as needed
    • Open CSA emails!
    • Good 'citizenship' - examples include helping run a meeting and supporting CSA and ASA efforts on messaging, political advocacy, and PAC participation.

    CSA does place a limit on the number of nominations you may submit. This ensures all members have an opportunity to serve and to allow our committee members to fully commit to those they are appointed to. 

    Conflict of Interest Disclosure Required
    Nominees will receive an email from Convey, this is the system CSA uses to manage its disclosures. Please complete the form as requested. This form will be sent at the end of the nomination period. 

    Educational Program Division Additional Requirement
    If you select EPD, there are additional requirements to meet ACCME standards and you will be required to complete not one but two conflict of interest forms. The first for governance and the second for EPD.
