Expression of Interest - Ascot Teens 3 day workshop

Want to build confidence, communication skills & have fun? Have you heard about DSIDQ’s program, Hear Me Out? We have delivered 4-6 week programs in Brisbane, workshops in the Gold Coast, Toowoomba and Townsville, and a teen workshop, and we are launching a 3 day workshop for teens at our Brisbane Office. Hear Me Out: Finding Your Voice Through Debate is a free program from Down Syndrome and Intellectual Disability Queensland. Through fun and supportive debate activities, you’ll build confidence, strengthen communication, and grow your critical thinking skills — all while developing your voice and sharing your ideas. The program was co-designed with people with intellectual disability, making it accessible, relevant, and engaging. You’ll take part in group games, partner activities, and interactive challenges, all supported by DSIDQ staff. When: 29th Sept, 30th Sept, 1 October, 2026 Where: 77 Kitchener Road, Ascot 4007. Important: The program will only run if enough people register. Letting us know you are interested helps us plan and confirm if the program can go ahead.
