Indemnity & Liability Release

In consideration of participation in towed water sports activities (waterskiing, wakeboarding, wakesurfing, cable-wakeboarding) and the use of relevant equipment and facilities at Bedok Reservoir:

I understand and am aware that all towed water sports activities can be hazardous. I understand that towed water sports activities and the use of relevant equipment and facilities, whether I am participating recreationally or competitively, presents a risk of injury to any and all parts of my body. I hereby agree, freely and expressly assume and accept any and all risks of injury to me and/or damage to my property, howsoever caused while participating in all towed water sports.

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Singapore Waterski & Wakeboard Federation, boat owners, operators, coaches, volunteers and officials from any claims, liabilities, losses, damages, costs and expenses arising out of or connected with my participation in the activities.

I agree not to make any claims, expenses, rights, demands and actions against Singapore Waterski & Wakeboard Federation, its officers, employees, coaches, volunteers, officials, contractors, agents, boat owners and boat operators for injuries to any and all parts of my body, and/or damages to my property, howsoever caused, due to my participation in any/all towed water sports, and the use of relevant equipment and facilities, whether recreationally or competitively.

This constitutes the final and entire agreement between me and the Singapore Waterski & Wakeboard Federation, its officers, employees, coaches, volunteers, officials, contractors, agents, boat owners and boat operators. I have carefully read this agreement and release of liability and fully understand its contents. I am aware that this is a release of liability and an agreement for the benefit of Singapore Waterski & Wakeboard Federation and the owners and/or operators of boats at Bedok Reservoir.

I also agree to following Code of Conduct while participating in towed water sports at Bedok Reservoir:
(a) Dispose all litter properly into available trash bins, no indiscriminate littering into the reservoir or at Bedok Reservoir Park.
(b) Try to pick up litter that I find in the water, whenever possible. If the litter cannot be retrieved, I will report it to my coaches or relevant authorities. 
(c) Not to swim, or place any part of my body in the water when not participating in towed water sports activities.
(d) No urinating or spitting in the reservoir.
(e) No smoking at the reservoir. 
(f) Wear a life vest at all times if standing/sitting on the floating dock or in the boat.

If the participant is under 18 years of age, the parent/guardian signing below confirms that he/she has read and understood this agreement and agrees to its terms on behalf of the participant.
