2. ACC Compensation
Given that ACC has only accepted 1,779 out of 4,495 vaccine-injury claims (including six fatal claims) as of 20 January 2026, and has paid out over $16.8 million, would your party support reforming the treatment-injury scheme for faster, fairer access and full coverage of out-of-pocket costs for the vaccine-injured and bereaved families?

3. Permanent Ban on Coercive Mandates
Does your party support legislating a permanent prohibition on any form of coercive vaccine mandates, vaccine passports or “no jab, no job” policies in future public health emergencies? Does your party agree that such a ban would protect the fundamental right to informed consent and bodily autonomy under NZBORA and Common Law?

4. Health System Accountability
What policies will your party implement to stop vaccine-injured people being dismissed, misdiagnosed or denied specialist care, and to improve adverse-event recording? What will your party do to ensure that any continued health issues as a result of the vaccine - such as subclinical myocarditis, cancers, inflammatory diseases, immune responses and other neurological conditions that may be associated with the vaccine are monitored, accurately documented and that the public is made aware?

8. Royal Commission Guardrails
How will your party ensure the Royal Commission’s key recommendation regarding the creation of standing pandemic legislation that acts as a “guardrail for fundamental rights and freedoms” under NZBORA? That any future response for any mass health measures would require "a high degree of transparency" including full public release of all rights-compliance advice, where decision-makers must take into account all alternative options and the potential social and economic impacts of their decisions, to ensure any impacts are reasonably balanced against public health goals and to ensure minimum restriction of fundamental human rights?

What is your party’s position on the handling of the 2022 Parliament protest - the people protesting COVID-19 vaccine mandates and government restrictions? This includes police use of force, arrests, removal of property, and the portrayal of the protesters by government and media. NEW 11. Should the NZBORA be entrenched?
Many responders wanted further information about your position on the New Zealand Bill of Rights which they feel is currently "worthless". They note that New Zealand law sits constitutionally above NZBORA — Do you think this should be reversed or the NZBORA Entrenched? How would you ensure that the rights and freedoms protected in NZBORA are upheld above any new arbitrary laws that might be introduced during a pandemic or other emergency? If an enactment that goes against the NZBORA is considered "demonstrably justified", should it then go to a referendum or unanimous vote in Parliament?

NEW 12. Paying off the media?
Several responders noted the large role the media played in "pushing the jab", and the influence played by the government spend on media through advertising and the Public Interest Journalism Fund. Is it appropriate for the government to be paying the media millions during a public health crisis given the perception, real or otherwise, that the media are being paid to deliver government messaging rather than hold power to account? Does your party support guidelines for responsible reporting - including on vaccine injury - ensuring injured individuals are not dismissed or stigmatised?

Two responders want the current indemnity that Pfizer has overthrown. It is "clear from ACC claims that the vaccine has caused and is causing health harm." Thoughts?

The way the Covid Inquiries were handled is a cause of concern. There was not even a special debate in the house, despite the topic being of national significance. Will your party support an independent, non‑government review of Covid‑19 response decision‑making - including mandates, the treatment of the vaccine-injured, the efficacy and safety of the vaccine, and exemption processes? Much information was ignored, or not fully dealt with, including the discovery of various myocarditis warnings provided to Government, but then ignored. Will your party look to review all the submissions to ensure that the Commissioners reports were free from bias and accurately reflect the responses, and engage in new detailed discoveries, as is obviously required?

NEW 16. People are suffering!
Many responders were distraught. They want to know if you promise to acknowledge them? They say: "We are suffering and there is such corruption in the health system." The vaccine injured and others harmed by the mandates say: "We won't stand for sitting in silence, so all of the above needs to be acknowledged & addressed." One mother says: "It was so darn cruel." Another: "I felt like my life was worthless, we had no help." And: "They can’t leave us to suffer. It’s beyond cruel."

Your party was founded on supporting the working person, but the wage subsidy benefited the wealthy and penalised the worker. Would you do this again—lockdowns and subsidies—during an emergency? What involvement did you have with the unions, that made unions push the jab and not support the workers? Why is Chris Hipkins still Leader of your party - he knew about the potential risks of the covid vaccine, including death? Will Chris Hipkins or Ayesha Verrall be made accountable for their past decisions?

Winston - Why are you only now breaking your silence on vaccine harms? Why have you only just brought this issue to the attention of the public instead of bringing it up the minute you stepped foot back in Parliament? Are you using this solely for election votes? Why do you not make more of the refusal of Hipkins to front and answer questions publicly regarding his major part in causing vaccine harms and loss to most New Zealanders (businesses, school children, families barred from meeting) from the mandates and lockdowns?

Please explain.
