Legacy Leader Application Form

The Legacy Leadership Institute on Public Policy, based in the University of Maryland School of Public Health, is designed to provide residents aged 50+ with new careers as Legacy Service Leaders during retirement. These leaders will receive training and will work with elected officials to help address the challenges facing the state of Maryland.

Next years class will start in September and go through Decemeber.
Classes are held each two days a week; location is to be determined.
The Maryland General Assembly volunteer segment would start in January 2028 and ends in April 2028.
Legacy Leaders volunteer 2 days a week in Annapolis during the legislative session.
