  • Join us for a fun and friendly day of competition, sportsmanship, and community as teams compete in a round-robin tournament followed by playoffs for the top teams.

    Team Sign in & Warm Up: 8:00 AM
    Tournament Start Time: 9:00 AM
    Registration Fee: $60.00 per team

    Each team must consist of:
    One (1) Male Player
    One (1) Female Player

    Tournament Format

    • 5 courts, Teams will be divided into 4 pools with 6 teams Maximum.
    • Guaranteed Round Robin games for each team. 
    • Self-officiated matches using standard pickleball rules.
    • Tournament schedule will be provided prior to the event.

    Standard Rules

    • Official pickleball rules will be used
    • Games will be played to 11 points (win by 2) during round robin play!
    • Playoff format will be announced prior to the event.

    All players are expected to demonstrate good sportsmanship and respect toward opponents, volunteers, and tournament organizers.

    Informed Consent Agreement

    I/We hereby acknowledge that certain risks of injury are inherent to participation in sports and recreation activities. These types of injuries may be minor or serious and may result from one’s actions, or the actions or in-actions of others, or a combination of both.

    I/We understand that the Rules & Regulations are designed for the safety and protection of participants and hereby undertake to abide by these Rules & Regulations.

    I/We understand that certain activities require a minimum level of fitness and health (physical, mental & emotional) and that each person has a different capacity of participating in these various activities.

    I/We agree that the instructors, volunteers or their agents shall not be liable for any injury to any person, the loss or damage to personal property arising from, or in any way resulting from, my or my child’s participation in these activities - unless such an injury, loss or damage is caused solely by the negligence of the above or their agents while acting within the scope of their duties.

    I/We hereby release the R.M. of West St. Paul and its agents from any and all liability for any injury sustained by me, regardless of how caused, resulting from my participation.

    I/We will protect, indemnify and hold harmless the R.M. of West St. Paul and its agents from all claims for damages, including all instances where a Communicable Disease has been transmitted or where (I) or a member of my family have become infected by a Communicable Disease that may arise out of the use of buildings, grounds or equipment.

    I/We further agree to indemnify and save harmless the R.M. of West St. Paul and its staff and agents from any and all suits, demands, torts, and actions of any kind which may be brought against its staff or agents for which it / they may become liable by reason of injury, loss, damage or death resulting from, or occasioned to, or suffered by any person or any property, by reason of any act, neglect, or default of mine.

    By completing this registration, I/We declare that I/We have read and understood the above Informed Consent Agreement in its entirety and hereby consent to participant acknowledging all of the foregoing.

  • Code of Conduct & Court Etiquette

    The West St. Paul Adult Coed Doubles Pickleball Tournament is intended to provide a fun, competitive, and respectful environment for all participants. By registering for the tournament, players agree to abide by the following Code of Conduct.

    Sportsmanship

    1. Treat all players, volunteers, tournament staff, and spectators with courtesy and respect at all times.
    2. Demonstrate good sportsmanship whether winning or losing. Congratulate opponents and respect all match outcomes.
    3. Unsportsmanlike conduct, including arguing, harassment, intimidation, or disruptive behaviour, will not be tolerated.

    Language & Behaviour

    1. Profanity, abusive language, threatening behaviour, or offensive comments of any kind are prohibited.
    2. There is zero tolerance for discriminatory, racist, sexist, or otherwise inappropriate remarks.
    3. Players under the influence of alcohol or drugs may be removed from the tournament without refund.

    Self-Officiating & Fair Play

    1. All matches will be self-officiated unless otherwise directed by tournament organizers.
    2. Players are expected to make fair and honest line calls and scorekeeping decisions.
    3. If a dispute arises, players should make every effort to resolve it respectfully. If resolution cannot be reached, tournament staff may be asked to assist.

    Court Safety

    1. Players should be ready to begin matches at their scheduled start time.
    2. Do not enter active courts during play.
    3. If a ball from another court enters your playing area, stop play immediately and replay the point if necessary.
    4. Use caution when retrieving balls and moving around courts to avoid injury to yourself and others.

    Tournament Operations

    1. Tournament staff reserve the right to adjust schedules, court assignments, and tournament formats if necessary.
    2. Players must report match scores to the tournament desk immediately following each match.
    3. Failure to appear for a scheduled match may result in a default loss.

    Facility Respect

    1. Help keep the facility clean by disposing of garbage in designated containers.
    2. Respect all tournament equipment, facility property, and other participants' belongings.

    Enforcement
    Tournament organizers reserve the right to issue warnings, remove players from matches, or disqualify participants whose behaviour violates this Code of Conduct. No refunds will be provided for disqualification resulting from misconduct.
