    Honoring 45 Years of Leadership
  • In honor of The Concilio’s 45th Anniversary, and in partnership with Latino Leaders Magazine, we will recognize 20–25 Latino leaders whose work has created lasting impact across Texas through service to their communities.

    Honorees will be featured in the July/August 2026 issue of Latino Leaders Magazine and recognized at a private reception in Dallas on August 18, 2026, as part of The Concilio’s anniversary celebration.

    Legacy Leaders
    Those who paved the way. 30+ years of demonstrated leadership in Texas.

    Established Leaders
    Those driving impact today. 15-30 years of leadership.

    Emerging Leaders
    Those shaping what's next through community impact. Typically under 40.

  • ELIGIBILITY


    Nominees must demonstrate meaningful impact through a service institution, such as a nonprofit, school, hospital, foundation, community center, faith-based organization, public agency, or other mission-driven organization.

    This award recognizes community impact—not professional achievement alone. Leadership must be demonstrated through service to others.

    Examples:

    • Business leaders must show involvement in service institutions
    • Artists must demonstrate community impact through service-based or pro bono work
    • Public officials are considered based on direct community service, not political role alone
    • Corporate leaders must show meaningful service institution engagement in addition to their professional role
  • NOMINATION GUIDELINES

    • Self-nominations will NOT be accepted
    • Each nominator may submit only ONE nomination
    • Each nominee may only be submitted once (duplicates will be merged)
    • Nominees must be Texas-based or have significant impact in Texas
    • All nominations must be complete to be considered
    • Required attachments: high-resolution photo (300 DPI minimum) + 150-word bio paragraph
  • Nomination Deadline: July 13, 2026

    Incomplete nominations will not be reviewed.

  • Before you begin: Self-nominations will not be accepted. All nominees must be Texas residents or have substantial documented impact in Texas. Incomplete nominations will not be reviewed. Please have a high-resolution photo (300 dpi minimum) and a 150-word bio ready to upload.

  • Latino Leaders Magazine will showcase one service institution per honoree. This section is required. Honorees must demonstrate impact through a service institution, a nonprofit, school, hospital, foundation, community center, religious institution, public agency, or other organization whose mission is service to the community.

  • LETTER OF SUPPORT
    Please upload one letter of support for the nominee.

    The letter must be written by someone other than the nominator or nominee (self-written letters will not be accepted). It should come from an individual who can speak to the nominee’s community impact, leadership, or service through a mission-driven or service institution.

    There is no required length. Letters may be brief or detailed, depending on the writer’s preference.

    This letter helps provide additional context about the nominee’s contributions and impact in Texas communities.
