ABOUT THE EVENT
We are hosting a large-scale community event at the BelRed Light Rail Station centered around the concept of "natural metering" — giving riders on their way to the game an interactive experience while waiting for the train, and offering a full soccer celebration for those who want to be part of the experience without traveling to Seattle.
VOLUNTEER EXPECTATIONS
•  Arrive 15 minutes before your shift begins.
•  Wear your volunteer badge/pink vest
•  Be friendly, welcoming, and ready to answer questions from the public.
•  Stay at your assigned station unless directed otherwise by an event lead.
•  Check in and out with designated staff to confirm hours.
•  Notify your lead immediately if you need to leave early or have any concerns.
•  If you are here for volunteer hours and need a signature, please bring your sheet with you for us to sign or you can email it to us at info@belredarts.org
EVENT ACTIVATIONS
🤖RoboKeeper: An interactive robot goalkeeper equipped with two cameras recording up to 90 images per second.
🎨Inflatable Art Installation: A light-up interactive inflatable designed with a local artist, celebrating the intersectionality of arts and sports. NO Volunteers needed for this

📸Photo Booth by Sarah Robbin: A freestanding selfie station designed and constructed by local artist Sarah Robbin. Volunteers help visitors capture their moments with the artwork.

👕Vera Project – Live Screen Printing: On-site screen printing of T-shirts, totebags, and posters using Sarah's design. Volunteers support customer flow and merchandise handling.

🎵DJ / Live Music: Live music to energize the atmosphere and draw in the community. Volunteers help maintain crowd flow and a welcoming vibe.

🏪Local Creative Business Showcase: Booths for local creative businesses and organizations to connect with visitors, workers, and residents of the BelRed community.

🍕Food by Cascadia Pizza: Cascadia Pizza, a BelRed Arts District staple, will be serving food on-site. Volunteers assist with crowd management and logistics around the food area.
