The Interview
For Full Editorial submissions. Express Profile submitters may skip ahead to Media section. Please answer as honestly and fully as you wish.
Tell us how this started — not the polished version, but the real one. What made you pick up a camera or open a laptop and decide the world needed to see what you were seeing?
Walk us through the journey from your first post to where you are now. What did you have to figure out that no one told you — about the craft, the business, and the life?
Every creator has a destination that changed everything — a place that moved the work to a different level or sent your life in a direction you hadn't planned. What was yours?
Your audience follows you because of something specific you offer that they can't find elsewhere. What do you think that is — and does your answer surprise you?
Travel content is everywhere. What is the difference, in your view, between content and genuine storytelling — and how do you try to stay on the right side of that line?
Tell us about a trip that didn't perform — that didn't resonate the way you expected. What did you learn from it, about the place, about your audience, or about yourself?
The relationship between a creator and a luxury brand or destination is complicated — there is genuine enthusiasm and there are commercial obligations. How do you navigate that honestly?
Which destination do you think is profoundly misunderstood — either overcrowded with the wrong narrative or simply overlooked — and what would you want people to actually know about it?
Tell us about the travel experience that no image could capture. The one where you put the camera down.
Slow travel, immersive travel, responsible travel — these words appear constantly. What do they actually mean in how you plan, move through, and represent a destination?
What does your audience most consistently get wrong about the places you cover — and how do you try to correct that without losing them?
The creator economy has created enormous opportunity and enormous pressure. What do you wish the industry would talk about more honestly?
When you travel entirely off the record — no content, no posting, no agenda — where do you go, and what do you do?
How do you define luxury travel — for yourself, and in how you represent it to your audience?
What is coming next — a destination, a project, a platform shift, a collaboration? What has your full attention right now?
What is the question no one ever asks a travel creator — the one that would actually get to something true? Ask it here, and answer it.
