2026 Tevis Cup Seeding Form

To be completed by the Horse's Owner:

If you have an AERC login, please follow the instructions below. If you do not have an AERC login, you will need to create one. 

1. Go to AERC.org
2. Click on Member Login button (top right) and enter your AERC login and password.
3. Click on "Member Home" after you are logged in
4. In Member Home, select Horse Records from the Navigation menu option  https://aerc.org/membership/my-horse-records/
5. Click on the name of the Horse you are entering in Tevis
6. Download/Save the pages which cover January 1, 2025 through July 18, 2026.  Please be sure the file you are saving shows/includes your horse's name. Note: The information is sorted by riders so make sure you print all the rides completed by the Horse during the Qualification Period.
7. Submit the saved data below as a file. You do not need to complete the detailed table at the end of this form if you are uploading a file.
8. If the file does not cover all the rides your horse competed from January 1, 2025 to July 18, 2026, then you need to complete the missing data in the table at the end of this form.
9. This information must be submitted no earlier than June 1 and no later than midnight on July 18, 2026.

IMPORTANT: Do not go to the AERC Website and click on AERC Records and submit the Horse's Record.  DO NOT SEND JUST THE RIDE RESULTS FOR YOUR HORSE. IT DOES NOT PROVIDE INFORMATION NEEDED (total starts/finishes for that ride) TO COMPLETE THE SEEDING CALCULATIONS.  Please follow the steps above or complete the table below.  If there are AERC Rides not currently reflected on your horse's record, you may also add them to the table below.

If you are NOT the Horse's Owner and do not have access to the AERC Horse Owner Records, please complete the table at the end of this form with the relevant information.

Things you should know about seeding at the Tevis:

• If you want to be considered for seeding in Pen 1, you MUST submit this form along with the Horse's AERC record.
• Entrants will be seeded in Pen 2 if the requested information is not submitted - NO EXCEPTIONS. This form does not need to be completed if you do NOT wish to be considered for Pen 1.
• International riders do not automatically get Pen 1, they are seeded based on the equine's record
• Only reported finishes of ENDURANCE RIDES 50 MILES OR MORE on the Seeding form will be considered - No LD's.
• Seeding percentage is based on the equine's placing in all the rides divided by the total number of equines starting on all the rides completed during the qualification period.
• The Pen 1 ticket is awarded to the equine (not the rider) and is not transferable.
• Ride Management can match up juniors and foreign riders with riders in Pen 1 at Management’s discretion with consideration of horse’s record.
