Course Description -
This training provides participants with a foundational understanding of domestic violence and intimate partner violence, including the six primary forms of abuse, barriers survivors face when seeking help, cultural considerations for working with Black survivors and other marginalized communities, and practical strategies for providing survivor centered, traunma informed, and culturally responsive care.
Who Should Attend this Training?
This training is ideal for social service providers, shelter workers, medical professionals, legal advocates, and family members who want to play an active role in helping survivors escape abuse safely.
