Welcome, brother. We are so glad you will be joining us for Roots of Belonging on Saturday, October 17, 2026 in Columbus, OH.

This is a sacred healing and leadership retreat created for Black trans men by SONS OF SPIRIT.

You will find essential details below. Once you are registered, additional information will be provided to you.

Date: Saturday, October 17, 2026

Time: 9am-5pm EST

Location: Private Residence in Columbus, OH (specific address provided after registration); there are a few steps to enter residence

Audience: Black trans men as well as non-binary and transmasculine folks who feel nourished by brotherhood and spaces that center men’s stories and experience.

Meals: Lunch and snacks will be provided

Cost: Choose Your Rate ($95, $195, or $395)

Refund Policy: Full refunds are available up to 14 days before the retreat, minus a $15 administrative fee. No refunds will be issued within 14 days of the event. However, your registration may be transferred to another participant.

We Gon’ Be Alright (Access Rate)

This rate is to reduce financial barriers to this space. If paying a higher rate would prevent you from attending, we invite you to choose this option.

We Good Over Here (Standard Rate)

This rate ensures we at least break even. It covers the cost of materials, venue, food, and travel for the facilitator, but does not pay the facilitator.

We Got Blessings on Blessings (Sustainability Rate)

This rate pays our Black trans facilitator, Jamari, ensuring he is properly compensated for his time, energy, and labor. It also supports our Access Rate and makes this space more accessible to our brothers facing financial hardship.
