2026 Vendor Application Rules and Regulations - Please Read Thoroughly!
Thank you for expressing an interest in booth space for the 2026 Simpson Red, White and Blue Festival which will be held on June 20, 2026 at Simpson High School: 4262 HWY 8, Simpson, LA 71474.
THIS IS AN OUTDOOR EVENT
- Booths must be set up and ready for business by 3:00pm, prior to the 4:00pm parade.
- Booths must remain in place and open during the festival hours until 9:00pm on Saturday, June 20th. NO VEHICLES WILL BE ALLOWED IN TO BREAK DOWN AND PACK UP A BOOTH EARLY WHILE THE FESTIVAL IS OPERATING.
- Booth spaces are 10x10 feet. Fee for each space is $25 – nonrefundable fee.
- Vendor payment is to be received by 06/19/26.
- Payment can be submitted electronically, by mail, or dropped off at Village Hall - but must be received by the deadline of 06/19/26.
- There will be no refund of registration fees for booth cancellations or for any other circumstances.
- Electricity is NOT provided. Generators are allowed in respect to others space and sound. The Simpson Community Events Committee reserves the right to expel any generator that is deemed invading of space to other vendors and/or found to be disruptive due to loud sound.
- Tents, roofs, tarps, sides, chairs, tables, extension cords, and/or sandbags are not provided.
- Trucks/Trailers may set up on Saturday, June 20th between 9:00am – 1:00pm.
- Towing vehicles will only be allowed in the festival area until 2:00pm on the day of the festival, June 20th. ALL vendor vehicles must be removed from the festival perimeter by 2:00PM - NO EXCEPTIONS.
- VENDOR PARKING IS NOT ALLOWED within any of the festival perimeters during festival hours.
- Booths are to remain open during parade and festival hours: 4:00pm – 9:00pm.
- Vendors are responsible for cleanup and disposal of trash at their booth space at the end of the event.
- Simpson Red, White and Blue Festival is a Rain or Shine Event.
- The Simpson Community Events Committee will not be liable for refunds, or any other liabilities whatsoever for the failure to produce the 2026 Simpson Red, White and Blue Festival due to any reason of the closure of the festival.
- All sale of food and/or drink consumption at the festival is STRICTLY PROHIBITED unless special authorization from the Simpson Community Events Committee has been granted to such vendor in ADVANCE to the festival. The Simpson Community Events Committee reserves the right to expel any vendor found to violate this rule.
- Vendors selling prewrapped / prepackaged breads, baked goods, jellies, jams, jerky, fruits, and/or vegetables is ALLOWED.
- Vernon Parish Sales & Use Tax form will be given to each vendor. It is the responsibility of each vendor to send in the tax form and payment. The Simpson Community Events Committee is NOT responsible for paying or sending information to the tax commissioner.
- Insurance, if desired by vendor, must be obtained at their own expense. The Simpson Community Events Committee, Village of Simpson, or 2026 Simpson Red, White and Blue Festival representatives assume no risk.
- The Simpson Community Events Committee, Committee Members, nor the Village of Simpson are responsible for losses, damages, or personal injury to any vendor, assigned workers, or volunteers of a booth, prior to, during or following the 2026 Simpson Red, White and Blue Festival.
- There will be no loud music, vulgar language, fighting, drugs, and/or alcohol allowed or tolerated. The Simpson Community Events Committee reserves the right to expel any vendor and their associates. Violators will be asked to leave the premises and festival immediately. We are a family-oriented event and want to have a great time and promote a safe environment for everyone to enjoy.
- These rules are editable and may be modified annually by the committee.

Prohibited Merchandise Policy
To maintain a family-friendly environment, the Simpson Community Events Committee reserves the right to approve or deny any 2026 Simpson Red, White and Blue Festival vendor application based on the products offered for sale or display.
The sale, display, promotion, or distribution of the following items is strictly prohibited:
• Merchandise containing profanity, obscene, offensive, or explicit language.
• Sexually explicit, vulgar, indecent, or suggestive images, graphics, or content.
• Drug-related merchandise or paraphernalia, including items promoting the use of illegal drugs or controlled substances.
• Merchandise promoting violence, hate speech, discrimination, or illegal activities.
• Any product deemed inappropriate, offensive, controversial, or inconsistent with the values and mission of the Simpson Red, White and Blue Festival.
The Simpson Community Events Committee reserves the sole right to determine the suitability of all merchandise. Vendors found displaying or selling prohibited items will be asked to remove such merchandise and will be asked to leave the festival.
