• 2026 Annual Conference Young Investigator Travel Award Application

  • The NNDC is pleased to offer up to 10 Young Investigator Travel Awards of $1,000 each to eligible conference attendees who present a poster at the NNDC 2026 Annual Conference. This award can be used to cover travel costs associated with attending the conference, including airfare, hotel, ground transportation, parking, and mileage, as appropriate. Complete applications must be submitted for consideration by 11:45 pm EST on July 31, 2026.

    Awardees still must register and pay for the conference registration at an individual member site rate of $95.

    Please note, A 1099 form will be issued to all awardees unless you prefer to submit an expense report after the conference. 

    The NNDC 18th Annual Conference will be held from October 19-20, 2026 with co-host the University of Texas at Austin Dell Medical School in Austin, Texas at the Texas Union. 

    NNDC conference kickoff summit will take place on Monday, October 19. The main NNDC academic research sessions will be held on Tuesday, October 20. Please register for one or both sessions on the registration page here.

  • Mentorship Networking Session

  • If selected as a travel awardee, you are expected to participate in an exciting Mentorship Networking Session on Monday, October 19, designed to facilitate the development of new mentor-mentee relationships across NNDC sites, beginning at this year’s conference. This opportunity will allow participants to engage with senior mentors and discuss topics such as career development, publishing, leadership, clinical care, and research. The goal is to foster lasting professional connections that support mentees as they advance their careers.
