2026 Garden Tour and Movie Information:
- 🌻 FEE: The cost to attend is $20. ~ The Tour is sponsored by the Friends of OCNJ History and Culture, and Graciously Hosted by Passionate Gardeners.
- 🌼 STARTING TIME: 1:00PM - 2:00PM ~ Will Call/Check-in Table located the day of event inside the Narthex Lobby of the Ocean City Tabernacle. You will be given a Wristband for Movie Admission and the Garden Tour. The Tour Map and Garden Descriptions will be Available via QR code, so Bring your Smart phone or Tablet to scan the QR code. Come Early, taking time to sit in the Auditorium before the movie, and read garden descriptions and plan your tour route.
- 🍦 FARMER'S MARKET AND CRAFT VENDORS: 8:00AM - 12:00PM ~ Make a day of it in Ocean City. The City-Sponsored Farmer's Market and Vendor Market is located on the Asbury Avenue side of the Tabernacle grounds. Then, go have lunch downtown on 8th Street or Asbury Avenue.
- 🌹 GARDEN TOUR TIME: 4:30PM - 7:30PM ~ Allow Time to Visit 7+ Gardens. Please be respectful of the host's property. Do not pick the flowers. You will need the Wristband to enter. Do not arrive to the gardens prior to 4:30pm.
- 🌻 MAPS: ~ Bring your Cell Phone to get the Map & Garden Descriptions at the Tabernacle via a QR code. No paper maps will be provided. There will be Yard Signs to indicate you are at the correct tour property. Do take lots of photos.
- 🌼 PARKING: ~ Parking is Free on the Tabernacle grounds all day. Keep in mind, there will be less cars on the lot after the Farmer's Market ends at 12 Noon. You can leave your car on the grounds if you plan to walk to the Gardens.
- 🦜 GETTING AROUND:
- Walking or Biking (Approximately 3-mile loop)
- Golf Carts/LSV (Make it Fun - Decorate your cart with flowers and lights)
- Driving - Keep in mind, it may be hard to park at certain locations.
- No Jitney Service.
- 🐝 RESTROOMS: ~ Restrooms available at the Tabernacle 1:00PM-5:00PM
- 🌸 RAIN DATE: ~ The Gardener movie is a Rain or Shine event inside the Tabernacle.
- 🌻 PLANS CHANGED: ~ Ticket is non-Refundable, but you can gift to another person. Just let us know.
- 👗 ATTIRE: ~ Have some fun with your garden party attire! Think fancy straw hats, gloves, floral dresses, men's Bermuda shorts and collared shirts, most of all comfy shoes for walking. Great year to wear your Red, White, and Blue.
