DESCRIPTION:
We are thrilled to open registration for this Lunch & Learn through the National Empowerment Center. Emotional CPR (eCPR) is an acclaimed, trauma-informed framework designed to help people assist others through emotional crises or distress. Rather than adopting a clinical approach, eCPR focuses heavily on authentic, peer-to-peer human connection. It provides practical, real-world tools to help you hold space, ground individuals experiencing heightened distress, and collaboratively build a path forward.
Whether you are seeking an introductory experience or a continuing education review, this 3-step framework provides foundational tools for meaningful connection:
The eCPR Framework
C - Connecting through Presence: Deepen active listening skillls and co-create an environment of genuine emotional safety for those experiencing crisis.
P - emPowering for Hope: Help others experience meaningful alignment, feel more engaged in their own lives, and regain a vital sense of personal mastery.
R - Revitalizing the Healing Process: Support the natural resumption of grounding routines, hobbies, and supportive relationships that reinforce long-term wellness.
