When a patient has not been seen for more than two years, Dr. Robichaud likes to allow for extra time to review your medical history and re-examine the area of chief complaint.
Because this requires an extended visit (30 minutes) there is an extra charge for the re-examination. This is $125.00 and can be billed to your insurance carrier (code 99213).
Some insurance companies will cover this, and some will not.
In the event your insurance company does not cover this charge, you will be personally responsible for paying it.
