The Ice Age Trail Alliance is collecting detailed information about the Trail and conditions in order to help hikers anticipate challenges and conditions, and decide whether a segment matches their abilities. So far, data has been collected on portions of five segments of Trail. Signs are posted at the locations (links to pdf versions of the signs are available at https://www.iceagetrail.org/trail-assessment-signage/) What's more, the data for one set of details has been translated onto a sample map.
