    USBCHA sanctioned 2 open, and 3 nursery classes

    8:00 am start time

    Open: 2 runs $75 per run/per dog

    Nursery: 3 runs $60 per run/per dog

    Pro-Novice: 2 runs $60 per run/per dog  full cross drive

    Ranch: 2 runs $45 per run/per dog  One leg drive

    Novice: 2 runs $45 per run/per dog  outrun/lift, fetch, wear/drive, pen

    **$5 for wrist band (good for entire weekend) We negotiated prices down on the wristbands this year. Wristbands will be available for pickup at the trial. **

     

    Entries for 3rd open dogs will be accepted if there is room after entries have closed. If you are sending a check, please send a seperate check for the 3rd Open dog. If you are paying with PayPal, and your 3 dog is not accepted, we will refund you through PayPal.

  • GENERAL INFORMATION

    Class Schedule: Friday: Open 1, PN1, Nursery 1

                            Saturday: Nursery 2, PN 2, Nursery 3

                            Sunday: Open 2, Ranch 1, Novice1, Ranch 2, Novice 2

     


    Sheep are Cheviot and cheviot crosses provided by Tucker and Brooke Benjamin.   Any unnecessary chasing of sheep will not be tolerated.  Stay in bounds of trial field.  Start times, class order may be adjusted based on entries, weather, course etc.  Payback to 5th place in Open and 3rd place in ProNovice.  Payback only on 2 dogs per handler per class.  No entries accepted without full payment

    T-SHIRTS:  Each participant will get one free T-shirt(note shirt size and color on entry form)  Additional T-shirts available for order.  Sweatshirts available pre-order only.  Send separate check for clothing items. Watch for T-shirt design to be posted on Facebook 

  • WAIVER AND RELEASE 

     

     

    I, the undersigned, for and in consideration of my permission to participate in the Crook & Whistle SDT and other activities associated with the foregoing, do release and discharge Jeffrey & Samantha Seeger, Wisconsin Sheep & Wool Festival, Jefferson County Fair Park, personal representatives, workers and assigns and any and all persons, corporations or firms on their behalf from all claims, demands, damages, debts, executions, actions or causes of action arising from or growing out of any and all personal injuries and property damage that I or my heirs, successors, assigns or representatives may hereafter incur as a result of my participation in the event. 

    In executing this release, I rely solely upon my own judgement without influence by anyone else, and I knowingly and voluntarily enter the same for the purposes set forth above. I fully understand that by entering this release I agree to forego all causes of action of any kind against Jeffrey & Samantha Seeger, Wisconsin Sheep & Wool Festival, Jefferson County Fair Park. 

     I agree that I am attending this USBCHA Sanctioned Event entirely at my own risk and take full responsibility for my own health and safety during this event. I will follow all USBCHA and Facility Event rules and requirements, and will fully cooperate with any City, County or State guidelines that have jurisdiction in the area in which the event is taking place. 

     I acknowledge that this event will include potential interaction with animals, whether mine, other participants’ or the livestock provided. I acknowledge that animals can behave in unpredictable manners, and that I fully assume all risks associated with my interaction with these animals or people. 

     Any damage to sheep valued at $400 

    I HAVE FULLY READ AND UNDERSTAND THE PROVISIONS OF THE ABOVE AND FOREGOING AGREEMENT AND WISH TO BE BOUND BY ITS TERMS.
