Recommend a Rec Coach
 

South Windsor Soccer Club is looking for positive, reliable adults who would be great working with kids in a team setting.

Recreation soccer is about more than practices and games. A good rec coach can help children build confidence, learn the game, feel supported, and experience what it means to be part of a team.

Who can be recommended?
Coaches must be 18 or older, but they do not need to be the parent of a current player. Parent or not, we want the best people for our players.

What experience is needed?
Soccer experience, coaching experience, teaching experience, or experience working with kids is ideal, but not required. If someone is responsible, encouraging, willing to learn, and has a genuine interest in helping kids and/or giving back through soccer, we would love to know about them.

Who should you think of?
Consider people in your life who would be a positive influence on kids, such as:

• Former players
• Older siblings
• College students
• Teachers or youth workers
• Family members, neighbors, or former athletes
• Anyone who would be great with kids in a team setting

Important note: Submitting this form does not obligate the person to coach. It simply helps us identify people who may be a good fit, and we will reach out to see if they are interested.
