    6. Explain how the nominee has demonstrated dedication to impacting the lives of individuals and the community around them (In less than 200 words)

  • To nominate a chaplain for this Governor’s Chaplaincy Award, the nominator must:  

    1. Ensure that the candidate meets the criteria for the Governor’s Chaplaincy Award:
      • Is a current chaplain appointed to a paid or voluntary position
      • Able to display evidence of a long-term commitment to the Ministry of Chaplaincy

    2. Provide a profile of the chaplain, that establishes grounds for the nomination. Pertinent information would include but not necessarily be limited to the following:
      • The candidate's biography and work experience within their role as a chaplain
      • A description of the organisation and its mission, that appointed the chaplain
      • One brief letter of recommendation as third-party endorsements (required)

    3. Provide written responses to the award category criteria (in less than 200 words)
