  • Summer Window Call for submissions:
    Wish You Were Here

The Dover Art League is creating a new window display to celebrate the Summer season and we need your artwork! We are seeking artworks with a focus on the theme Wish You Were Here.

Wish You Were Here explores the places, people, and moments that linger long after summer ends. Inspired by memory, nostalgia, travel, and personal history, this exhibition invites artists to reflect on experiences both real and imagined.

Submissions may draw from childhood adventures, family traditions, road trips, favorite local spots, fleeting encounters, treasured objects, or memories that have taken on a life of their own over time. Artists of all mediums are encouraged to interpret the theme in their own way, whether through personal narrative, abstraction, symbolism, or storytelling. Rather than focusing on traditional seasonal imagery, we invite work that captures the feeling of a memory worth revisiting.
