Camp Encouragement: Pathfinders is a free, healing-centered program for teens ages 13-17 in Chester, PA or throughout Delaware County who have experienced loss. This may include the death of a loved one, divorce, incarceration, abandonment, or separation due to addiction or other difficult life circumstances.
Pathfinders gives teens a space to connect with peers who understand, process their experiences, and build resilience through age-appropriate activities, all in a supportive environment led by a licensed professional.
Pathfinders runs year-round. During the school year, teens meet the first Wednesday of each month from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m., with dinner and homework help provided. Each summer, teens come together for a two-week evening camp. All sessions take place at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, 101 Washington Ave., Upper Chichester, PA 19014. This program is completely free to families, thanks to support from our community.
Registration is open year-round, and teens are welcome to join at any point. Please complete one form per teen. After you submit your registration, a team member will follow up with more information about your teen's enrollment status and the next session date. If you have questions, feel free to use the comments section at the end of the form.
