Flatrock Fest is Newfoundland’s biggest climbing festival of the year. Whether it’s your very first day climbing or you’re a seasoned crusher, there’s something for everyone. Set on the stunning seaside cliffs of Flatrock, the festival offers an unforgettable day of climbing, community, and ocean views.
This is a top-rope festival, which means we set up ropes on more than 20 climbs ranging from 5.7 to 5.11. That gives you the chance to try routes you might not otherwise have access to!
With the help of our amazing volunteers, you can jump on any climb without needing to know anything about rope management. We’ll also provide helmets, harnesses, and climbing shoes for anyone who doesn’t have their own gear. There will be clinics, sponsored prize draws, and this year we’re making Flatrock Fest shirts!
